Future planning…

We’re creating a multi-use community that will become a destination not only for Aldersgate residents, but for Charlotte. Services, retail, recreation and restaurants will create what we hope will become a new blue zone—a place where active aging is a natural byproduct of having accessible communities.

Part of our mixed-use development along Shamrock Way aims to blur barriers between social-economic classes by bringing greater diversity into more accessible forums, where groups of different ages, races and backgrounds can mix, meet and collaborate. The multi-use community we are developing will be a win for everyone. It will become a naturally occurring retirement community, a significant amenity for the greater neighborhood and an inspiration for other retirement communities to do the same.

Aldersgate—we’re “naturally invested in community.”
