What is the defining difference at Aldersgate? Simply put, we are a non-profit organization, rather than part of a for-profit chain of communities headquartered elsewhere. We live our motto, “Naturally invested in community.”
Aldersgate’s executive leadership is from and for this community. We have deep roots and a vested interest in putting our residents, team members and neighborhoods first. The most significant difference between a for-profit community and Aldersgate is that revenue is not distributed to shareholders, owners or investors. Instead, money is reinvested into the operations, lifestyle options, services and the betterment of the Aldersgate community, residents and clients as well the greater community of East Charlotte.
